The calligraphy presented depicts in the composition Shahada, Allah (cc), Muhammad (saw) and the names of four Khalifas.
The first four Khalifas (Caliphs) in the Islamic history, the honorable Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A), Umar Farooq (R.A), Usman Ghani (R.A) and Ali Asadullah (R.A) were the righteous and closest companions of the Holy Prophet (SAW). There should be no discrimination among them as they all had the strongest faiths in Allah and His Messenger (SAW) and rendered greatest services to elevate name of the Islamic Religion.
The Shahada is the Islamic Creed, one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It translates to: “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” The Shahada is divided into two parts: the first—“There is no god but Allah”—is a confession of tawhid, the oneness of God upon which all Islamic theology is based. The second—“Muhammad is (God’s) messenger”—confesses the belief in the prophethood of Muhammad, from which comes Islam’s complete ethical code.
